About Visio Dei Kids

Welcome to our Visio Dei Kids page. Our desire as a ministry is to partner as families to help our children grow as learners, lovers, and givers sent on mission with the church. We strive to do this through each area of our church, most directly our Sunday Morning Worship Gatherings and our Home Groups.

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday's you will find a Children's Ministry team ready and excited to care for your child. From check-in to pick-up we are prepared to serve families with infants through the 5th grade (If you have children older please check out our Youth Page.) We do break up the age range on Sundays to better serve your children and to maintain a positive experience for them while they are with us. We strive to create an environment for children to enjoy learning, experiencing, and participating in the gospel. Our relationships with them are very important, and we consider our children to be a valuable part of our church community. The safety and well-being of your child is of the utmost importance to us, and we provide training for all those who are involved in our children's ministry.

The age groups breakdown is as follows:

Infants - Newborns through those starting to crawl.

Toddlers - Crawlers through 23 months.

Preschool - All two year olds and 3 year olds (not potty trained)

PreK - Potty trained 3 year olds through those entering Kindergarten

Elementary K -1st - Kindergarten's through those in the 1st grade.

Elementary 2nd - 5th - 2nd graders through 5th graders.

Home Groups

Our Home Groups meet together through out the week to grow as learners, lovers, and givers on mission together. Knowing that our children are a part of that call we invest energy into these times as well for our families. Those Home Groups that actually have families with children are equipped through our children's ministry to love and minister to our kids with purpose. Be it through a lesson, a video, or a craft time; a curriculum has been built by our Children's Ministry team to coincide with what is being learned and experienced on Sundays. Our hope is to maximize what is being grown in our children so they can best understand and live out the gospel.
